E waste are found both in offices and household. Research show that E waste is growing exponentially because global consumer demand continues to increase. Moreover, Technology uptake and shorter replacement cycles are contributing to the growth of E waste.

The global E waste monitor in 2017 show that E waste has grown to 44.7 million metric tons annually. But only 20% of e waste generated were documented to be collected and recycled leaving behind 76% you can do the math. The missing percent is likely to be dumped or recycled under inferior condition.
